In April, the Iowa Chapter of the Iowa (PRA), Iowa Office of Consumer Affairs (OCA), and Iowa Advocates for Mental Health Recovery (IAMHR) co-sponsored a one-day conference entitled Recovery Across the Lifespan. The goal of the conference was to bring together stakeholders in psychosocial rehabilitation where collaborations and partnerships could be built, the vision of recovery could be strengthened, knowledge and expertise in the field could be shared, and the realization that recovery for people of all ages is possible and could be promoted and understood as an integral component of mental health, recovery and wellness for everyone in Iowa.
